Hassan: JD(S) workers from Arasikere Constituency have urged Party Leader Revanna to clear the confusion over the candidate for the upcoming Assembly elections in Arsikere Assembly Constituency.
Hundreds of JD (S) workers from Arsikere Taluk, led by JD (S) Leaders Gangadhar and K. B. Keshavamurthy, met Revanna at the MP’s residence on R. C. Road in the City.
Shivalingegowda has distanced himself from the JD (S). Speculations are rife across the Constituency that he will join the Congress party.
“The move of the MLAs has also led to suspicion. Make it clear whether he will remain in the Party or join the Congress. If Shivalinge Gowda is contesting, declare himself as the JD (S) candidate. Focus on party organisation. Otherwise, an alternative candidate should be announced and confusion should be cleared,” they said.
