Hassan: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s disqualification from the Parliament has triggered lot of people. In a shocking incident the National Students Union of India (NSUI) tried to lay siege to the railway station by protesting against BJP’s decision to cancel his membership as an MP.
The protest march, which started from the District Congress Office near B. M. Road in the City in the afternoon, raised slogans against Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Central Government reached the Railway Station. Later, the police stopped a protest agreement that tried to enter the railway station and arrested all of them. The arrested protesters also shouted slogans against the BJP Government in a police van.
At the same time, the NSUI District President Supreeth Gowda and others were present.
