Shivamogga: In the Assembly elections held on May 12, BJP succeeded in winning six of the seven constituencies in the district. District BJP attributed the triumph of the party to the “Modi wave” and the people friendly election manifesto on May 16.
Talking to the media at the BJP Head Office here, BJP Shivamogga District President Rudre Gowda said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s electrifying campaign and the BJP’s election manifesto designed with voters’ inputs were instrumental in the stellar victory of the BJP.
He said that the election homework had started one year ago. “The party workers worked at the grassroots level to create favourable opinion about the BJP. The result of the hard work is here and it has sent shockwaves through JDS and Congress”, he claimed.
“The good image of the BJP’s winning candidates, effective persuasion, people friendly developmental works and our promises for the future–all combined to impress the people to vote for BJP”, Rudre Gowda said and thanked everyone for their support and hard work.
