Shivamogga: Minister of Public Works Department C. C. Patil assured that Shivamogga airport works will be completed within stipulated time despite a little delay due to incessant rains.
He was speaking to media persons after inspecting the airport construction works at Sogane here. The work is on in two phases. As per the plan, construction of runway and terminal is going on simultaneously and quality works can be expected, he said.
He also said that today foundation stone was laid for projects worth Rs. 600 crore that includes construction of railway overbridge and new bridge in the district.
