Shivamogga: The differences between him and BJP State president B.S. Yeddyurappa over the appointment to key posts in the party and on the activities of the Sangolli Rayanna Brigade have been resolved, said leader of Opposition in the Legislative Council K.S. Eshwarappa on Monday.
Speaking to mediapersons, Eshwarappa said that all the issues between him and Yeddyurappa had been resolved. Refusing to divulge further details on the talks, Eshwarappa said that the talks took place on October 15.
Eshwarappa further said that the brigade will continue as a non-political organization and he will not directly get involved in its activities. I will attend its programmes only on the invitation of the organizers, he said.
Yeddyurappa who spoke to mediapersons said that he will not discuss the issue of differences between him and Eshwarappa in public. Such issues should be resolved within the forum of the party, he said.
On Monday, both Eshwarappa and Yeddyurappa attended a programme organised by the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad in the city and were seen conversing with each other in a cheerful manner.
