Shivamogga: A 22-year-old youth Narasimhamurthy was brutally murdered on the midnight of Wednesday, October 17, in the Jayanagar Police Station limits.
According to sources, he was killed with a cutting tool.
Narasimhamurthy was working in a chat shop near Maax Super Speciality Hospital, Durgigudi.
According to the FIR (First Information Report) registered in the Jayanagar Police Station, the miscreants are booked under the IPC Section 302 (Punishment for murder).
According to the complainant Chikkahanumakka (mother of Narasimhamurthy), on Wednesday at around 5.30 PM, Narasimhamurthy had left for work pushing the pani puri cart. At around 11.15 PM, his friend Deepak had called to his sisters’ phone saying that, he was badly hurt and had sustained an injury on his head. He also informed that Murthy was admitted to the Maax Super Speciality Hospital.
His mother and family reached the hospital at around 11.30 PM. Narasimhamurthy was lying on the bed with blood all around. He was badly hit on his head and arms. The injured parts were covered completely with the bandage.
Narasimhamurthy was declared dead by the doctors.
He was attacked by miscreants and was beaten hard on his head with a cutting tool. This attack is suspected to be an act of revenge.
