Shivamogga: An engineering student got in touch with a girl on Facebook. The relationship lasted for two years. Later, they started sharing personal information and the girl shared her sexually explicit personal pictures trusting the guy who assured of marriage after meeting her in person.
The 2nd year engineering student Siddharth, son of an advocate shared the pictures with Vinay, a close relative. Vinay got in touch with the girl and she vented her anger against Siddharth for his misdeeds. Vinay in the meantime assured the girl of getting her Whatsapp images removed from Whatsapp files and introduced her to his electrician friend by name Nagaraj who donned the role of a rescuer and eventually ended having sexual relationship with her. When the girl’s family came to know that she was pregnant due to an unhealthy relationship, they drove her away and asked her to stay with Nagaraj.
In the meantime, a person named Kiran appeared and assured her of getting her married to Nagaraj and took her to Bengaluru where the girl realised that Nagraj was already married and had a kid. Finally, with no other option the girl complained to police narrating her saga.
The police initiated immediate action and arrested all the four accused.
