Shivamogga: Rumours of suspected Love Jihad surfaced, after a Hindu woman went missing post her marriage to a Muslim man following their alleged love affair.
Efforts are on to trace Anusha Hegde, after her parents launched a complaint.
In their complaint, Aravind Hedge-Asha couple accused Javid Khan of ill-treating their daughter after luring her into a relationship a year ago. They have also alleged that Javid’s marriage to their daughter was his third one and that he was harassing her post marriage.
The allegations are based on the inputs provided by their daughter, who stayed with them for few days during this month before she went missing, they revealed.
They have also accused Javid of depriving their daughter of food and care, and treating her like a maid by forcing her to look after his children from earlier marriages.
Incidentally, Anusha hails from an orthodox Hindu family and her father is a well known music maestro.
