Shivamogga: ‘Disaster damage survey has estimated the primary destruction at Rs 418 crore in the flood-prone areas of Shivamogga district, said K. S. Eshwarappa.
Minister K.S Eshwarappa along Araga Jnanendra visited flood-prone areas in Mandagadde Hobli of Teertahalli Taluk on Friday August 6.
Speaking to the press persons Eshwarappa said “relief measures will be provided to the victims of floods, who have lost their homes, animals, and lands.
“The disaster damage survey is estimated to be complete within four days. As soon as the completion, measures on providing relief will be taken,” said Jnanendra.
In a single day, 10 hills in Teertahalli taluk witnessed a landslide due to heavy rain.
