Shivamogga: “Prime Minister Narendra Modi who is constantly lying and insulting the Constitution of India, is a ‘Master of Lies“, criticised AICC Secretary B K Hariprasad.
Speaking at a press meet here, on Monday, October 29, Hariprasad said, “In the state, B S Yeddyurappa is seen speaking for the farmers, but at the Centre, from past four years, Modi has never spoken a word.”
“Modi has to now use magnifiers to check the problems of the labourers and farmers. His achievements are null”, he added.
Continuing his criticism against PM Modi, he said, “He’s seen only favouring the corporate giants and has transformed the lives of commoners to that of beggars.”
“He has not stood by his words. He doesn’t pick the grievous issues of the country. Gujarat has become the model for this country”, he added.
Praising the achievements of the previous Congress rule in the state, Hariprasad said, “Modi being the chief minister of Gujarat has contributed nothing, whereas Karnataka has become the model state because of the last Congress regime.”
“From Bengaluru, on a daily basis, around 100 flights take off and land, but in Gujarat, the number is only 12. This is the model state Gujarat”, he ridiculed.
He slammed the state BJP saying, “It is because of Yeddyurappa, who in the race of getting the CM’s seat, had resigned as MP, due to which we are facing the by poll here unnecessarily.”
“As the Congress-Janata Dal (S) workers are canvassing with enthusiasm, Madhu Bangarappa’s victory is definite”, he added.
District Congress President T N Srinivas, MLA R Prasanna Kumar, former MP C Narayanaswamy and other leaders were present.
