Shivamogga: When a town council member thinks twice to offer resignation from his post, I readily gave resignation to Chief Minister’s post voluntarily and under no pressure with one and only aim of giving chance to others to in the party to take up the mantle, said Former Chief Minister B. S. Yediyurappa.

Speaking to media persons on Sunday September 26 here in the district he said that even Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed his surprise when I offered to give resignation. Though I hold no office, in order to strengthen party ahead of 2023 Assembly elections, I have decided to tour the entire State and aim to get 140 seats in elections for the BJP in the State.

Yediyurappa added that he is all likely to tour the State in next 15 days.
