Shivamogga: Shivamogga MP and former Chief minister B.S.Yeddyurappa clarified on Saturday that he was not in the race of becoming the president of state BJP unit.
Speaking to media persons after laying the foundation stone for a building of Kendriya Vidyalaya at Santhekadur, he said, “I am not in the race for top post in state BJP unit but I am ready to handle it efficiently if the party high command wished it. I will also handle any responsibility given to me by the party leadership other than it.”
Asked if he would become CM again if the BJP succeeded in the next assembly polls he replied, “It is the ambition of the people. My priority is to organise the party in the next two and half years and bring it to power.”
