Shivamogga: As many as eight persons were arrested by the police in connection with an assault case involving a man and a woman.
According to SP K M Shantharaj, a young man and woman were attacked by miscreants on November 11 in the Mandagaddee area. “A video of the assault has gone viral,” he said, adding that a case was registered and eight persons have been arrested.
He informed that the police are still on the lookout to arrest the other accused persons in the case.
Stating that an investigation into the incident is underway, he asked the public not to share/forward the video of the assault on social media.
