Shivamogga: Many parts of the State are experiencing heavy rains in past nine days. The Agumbe Ghat too is one among the many places that has been getting incessant rainfall.
However, the Ghat experienced landslides on Sunday July 10. The landslides were reported in the fourth curve of the Ghat.
Due to the landslides, the road connecting Shivamogga to Hebri was blocked, and the commuters were urged to take alternative roads. No casualties have been reported.
