Shivamogga: Shivamogga airport is yet to be inaugurated. The airport was expected to be open at Shivamogga by the end of December 2022. Now there is talk that it will open by February 27.
Speaking to the mediapersons, B. S. Yediyurappa said that the date has not been fixed. Some clearances are required so that It will start by February 27. With this, the opening of the airport is likely to go a long way, he noted.
“Officials from DGCA and airport authority visited sogane airport. Efforts are being made to get a last-mile licence. MP B.Y. Raghavendra also visited the airport,” he said.
It is clear that the delay is taking place due to the reason that several permit needs to be taken. The airport is BSY’s dream and it is also the wish of the people that it should be commissioned soon.
