Shivamogga: Animal Husbandry Minister Prabhu Chauhan has said that necessary financial assistance will be provided to the gaushalas run in association with private organisations in the State.
He was speaking after visiting the Dyaneshwari Goushala at Hunsodu Village near here on Friday November 25 in association with Karki Sree Matha and performing ‘Gaupuja’. As announced earlier, the process of identifying a place for setting up gaushalas in all districts of the State is underway.
He said the aim is to increase the allowance per animal in gaushalas from Rs. 17 per day to Rs. 30 as in Gujarat.
