Shivamogga: As many as 15 Hijab-clad girls from DVS College here went back home on Monday February 28 after they were refused entry into college.
The girls had gathered in front of the college gate for a while. However, owing to Sec. 144 in place, they were informed that they were supposed to form a group. Following this, the girls weny into the college and met the members of the administration.
As they were told that everyone needs to abide by the High Court interim order and thus hijab-clad students will not be allowed inside the class, the 15 girls walked out if the college without attending classes.
