Shivamogga: Former Minister K. S. Eshwarappa has demanded that anyone who live here and commit acts of terrorism should be encountered.

Speaking to mediapersons, he said, “Those who abet terrorist activities, irrespective of their caste, religion and background, should be dealt with ruthlessly. Otherwise, such people will be a danger to the country,” he said.

Such people should be hanged in public or killed in an encounter. Only then can such cases come down. If there is only an investigation and arrest, these things will keep happening again and again,’ he said.

“After Narendra Modi became the Prime Minister, such malpractices have come down. The activities taking place along the border have been completely suppressed. But there are some people within us who are anti-society. Eshwarappa warned that the Government will not allow this to happen.

“Some people think they can create panic in the society. The Government knows how to handle such people. If you untie your tail, the government will not just sit with folded hands,” he asserted.
