Due to intense rainfall caused by the Fengal cyclone, the home of Umesh, situated close to the Ballabagh-Bejai road, is nearing collapse. A section of the stormwater drain connected to the house has fallen apart, exposing the building’s support pillar and leaving the structure highly unsafe.
Umesh, who shares the residence with his wife and two children, reported that the damage occurred on December 3. The destruction has rendered the house almost inaccessible, as the ground near the entryway has also caved in, making it hazardous for the family to approach.
