Mangaluru: VK Furniture and Electronics is thrilled to announce its Independence Day Online Fancy Dress Competition 2024, inviting children from the regions of Dakshina Kannada, Udupi, Chikkamagaluru, Kodagu, and Kasaragod to showcase their creativity and patriotism.
Theme and Categories: The competition encourages children to dress up as freedom fighters, with three age-based categories:
- Kids (2-5 years): Participants are required to submit photos only.
- 1st Prize: Study Table
- 2nd Prize: Piano Keyboard
- 3rd Prize: Book Shelf
- Age (6-10 years): Participants must submit a video featuring a patriotic song.
- 1st Prize: Bicycle
- 2nd Prize: Study Table with Book Shelf
- 3rd Prize: Book Shelf
- Age (11-14 years): Participants are to submit a video of a patriotic speech.
- 1st Prize: Bicycle
- 2nd Prize: Study Table with Book Shelf
- 3rd Prize: Book Shelf
All participants will receive medals and certificates. Additionally, five Best Performance Prizes will be awarded in each category.
Submission Details: Entries should be sent via WhatsApp to 8748800666 or 7349299174 or emailed to [email protected]. Submissions must include:
- At least two angle photographs and one performance video (if applicable)
- Participant’s Name, Age Proof, Address, Contact Number, School Name, Class, and Place
Guidelines and Rules:
- Languages for Speech and Song: English, Hindi, or Kannada.
- Video Duration: Minimum 3 minutes for songs, and 2 minutes for speeches.
- Old or previous year’s submissions will not be considered. Duplication may lead to disqualification.
- Clear visibility of photos and videos is mandatory.
- Winners will be announced on VK Furniture and Electronics’ Facebook and Instagram pages.
- Prizes will be distributed at the Thokottu showroom, with mandatory presence of the child and parents.
- Top three winners in each category will receive prizes, medals, and certificates. Participation certificates will be given to all.
- Results will be announced within a week.
Eligibility: The competition is open exclusively to residents of Dakshina Kannada, Udupi, Chikkamagaluru, Kodagu, and Kasaragod districts.
