Kalaburagi: Union Minister Bhagwant Khuba has accused Chief Minister Siddaramaiah of running an administration that bears resemblance to an authoritarian regime. Additionally, he has alleged that there is a deliberate effort to initiate legal proceedings against Hindu activists.
Speaking with reporters, they said that since the Congress government came to power, it has been conducting an administration reminiscent of Tughlaq. Chief Minister Siddaramaiah is only indulging in tokenism and is engaging in abduction by merely providing token representation to minorities. They also claimed that the SC/ST funds and guaranteed schemes are sidelining the development of Dalits.
Regarding the Bidar-Kalaburagi railway line survey, they mentioned that it has already been completed, and substantial administrative work related to the Latur-Kalaburagi national highway project is also finished.
They also pointed out the mistreatment of a student who defaced a portrait of Swami Vivekananda at a central university. They criticized the support given to the student by some individuals, stating that it highlights their narrow-minded propaganda.
The comments of Secretary Priyank Kharge, who allegedly uses derogatory language in his speeches, were also highlighted, particularly in the context of the Shivamogga incident. They questioned why Priyank Kharge hasn’t spoken out against the incident so far.
They demanded that strict punishment be imposed on those who attempted to harm the central university’s vice-chancellors, and they stated that the Central University will not be converted into another JNU for any reason.
They credited Prime Minister Modi’s capable leadership and prudent decision-making for India’s rise from 10th to 5th place in the global economy over the past nine years. Furthermore, they expressed confidence that in the coming years, India will reach the third position without any doubt. They highlighted that after COVID-19, India is the only country in the world with a GDP growth rate exceeding 7.2%. All other countries have GDP growth rates lower than 4%.
