Chamarajanagara: A farmer lost Rs. 9.5 lakh cash in a broad daylight by thieves. The farmer Nagegowda, a native of Achchttipura near here had come for registration of property which he had bought from another man. It is said that Nagegowda visited sub-registrar’s office for registration and came for lunch in a hotel in front of District Administration Bhavan.
He parked the car in front of the hotel and kept Rs. 9.5 lakh in a brief case. After having lunch he came near the car and found that miscreants broke open the window glass and stole the money.
Chamarajanagara Town Police have registered a case and further investigation is on.
