Mysuru: After 14-year-old H Kushi created new Golden Book of World Record by performing record breaking number of back plank recline crunchers in one minute now it’s the turn of just seven-year-old Rifah Taskeen who created new golden book of world record for largest range of multi-wheeler vehicles driving.
Rifah who is daughter of Tajuddin, a famous racer who had won several state and national awards had dreamt of becoming world champion but couldn’t achieve it. Keeping this in mind, Tajuddin decided to make his second daughter to achieve the same. When Tajuddin was into racing, people from not only across the district but also from neighboring districts used to come and watch his racing talent. On similar line, on Sunday at St Joseph School in Bannimantap, people not only from the city, but also Rifah’s relatives from Saudi Arabia and also from different places had come to witness her record breaking feat.
Rifah didn’t disappoint anybody as she came out with mind-blowing and mesmerizing driving skills. She not only managed to drive goods vehicle and more than 10 cars including SUV but also drove 10 wheeler truck which surprised the people who had gathered at Idgah Maidan. The confidence and courage she displayed during her drive left onlookers speechless.
At Eidgah maidan, after word of instruction from her father, Rifah managed to drive truck for nearly 10 to 15 minutes. During her 10 to 15 minutes drive, after getting control of the vehicle and without any discomfort she displayed her driving skills. Once she got control of the truck, for Rifah it was just like riding four wheeler. Later the action shifted from Eidgah ground to St Joseph School premise in Bannimantap where she not only displayed driving skills by riding nearly 10 cars including two goods vehicles and SUV but during her driving she also displayed her drifting skills which made the audience to give standing ovation. Before starting driving four wheeler, she rode five wheeler quad bike which was modified by his father.
“When she was just six month old I used to take her for ride. Gradually she got attracted towards car and driving. When she was just three year old she started to learn how to drive, in just span of six month she managed to drive all sorts of four wheeler. Gradually I too encouraged her towards driving and today she can ride any four wheeler and also truck. She wants to become fighter plane pilot and serve the country. Apart from this she also wants to take up racing professionally” added Tajuddin who has totally dedicating his life to make Rifah, Formula 1 car racer.
Like any parent, Tajuddin had hoped for a boy to make his dream of becoming a renowned racer. But when his second child too was a girl, Tajuddin decided to not hold any prejudice.
Delighted Rifah said “It’s because of my father’s encouragement and support that I managed to achieve this. I want to achieve more and bring greater laurels to my parents, to my city Mysuru and the country. In days to come I want to take part in car racing. I want to become fighter pilot”.
Santosh Agrawal, Record Manager, GBWR said “The record created by Rifah is surely first of its kind. She created record in young achievers category. After going through her performance I have declared that she created new record under GBWR”.
One more record from Mysuru girl: Deputy Commissioner D Randeep who too witnessed Rifah driving said “After Kushi, Mysuru girl Rifah has come out with one more record. I too can’t ride these sorts of vehicles. It is a miracle and we need to encourage such talents.”
