Hunasur: An army soldier from Mysore district died, when he came in contact with a live electric transmission line while on duty in Gujarat.
Subramanian, aged 33, son of Palaniswamy is the deceased.
Resident of Devagalli village in Hunsur Taluk, Subramanyam had joined army eight years ago. His family members are in total distress after hearing the news of his demise as he was due to arrive in his native village
in two days’ time. Married five years ago, he had made the last telephone call on December 13, wishing his little child on its birthday.
Subramanyam is survived by two children.
