42-year-old man’s corpse found in toilet pit in Hanuru

Chamarajanagar: In an unfortunate incident reported from Gundimala village of Hanuru taluk in the district, a person’s body was found in a toilet pit of his residence.

The deceased has been identified as Rajashekhar Murthy (42). Mahadevswami, the father of the deceased person had come to the Hanuru police station on Sunday June 27 to file a missing complaint of his son. However, on Monday evening, the corpse of Rajasekhar was found in the toilet pit. The body was traced as a foul smell emanating from the spot.

Deputy Superintendent of Police Nagaraju and Inspector Santosh Kashyap of Hanuru Police Station visited the spot. Soon, the dead body was transported to Hanuru Hospital for further procedures.

The deceased’s father suspects his daughter-in-law to be behind the incident. Hanuru police have filed a case and are carrying out further investigation.
