Chamarajanagara: As the State Assembly election is fast approaching, the ticket aspirants have been making all kinds of efforts to woo the party leaders and voters. A BJP ticket aspirant from the Hanur Assembly constituency, Jandhwani Venkatesh has tried to win the hearts of BJP leaders and people by organising a massive health check-up camp.
On the occasion of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday, a huge health check-up camp has been organised near Gauri Shankar Kalyan Mantapa in Hanur Town, and thousands of people are being brought in buses from villages and are being checked.
More than 100 doctors conducted complete health checkups including eye checkups, cancer, BP, sugar, kidney, homoeopathy, Ayurveda, paediatric department. Over 6,000 to 7,000 people have participated in the camp.
As many as five candidates are trying to get a ticket to the contest from BJP in Hanur Constituency including former minister’s son, Pritam Nagappa, Duttesh Kumar, and Nishant Venkatesh has drawn attention by organizing this health check-up camp to overtake them in the race for ticket.
