Chamarajanagara: Following the rise of Nipah cases in Kerala the Chamarajanagar District Administration has banned the inter-state traffic till October end.
Earlier vehicles of students and entrepreneurs were allowed with valid RT – PCR report.
Speaking to reporters District Health Officer Dr. H. K. Prasad said that only goods and ambulances will be allowed from now on. He said that the District Administration is creating awareness among villagers of border areas by distributing pamphlets about Covid third wave and Nipah virus.
He said that the students who came to Mysuru and those who have gone to Kerala should continue their education in the places they are put up for now.
