Chamarajanagara: A tiger has been found dead in Nayihalla in Gundre Forest Range in Bandipura Tiger Reserve on Friday March 11.
It is said that the carcass of female tiger aged about 8 to 9 years was found by forest guards while patrolling. It is learnt that the tiger died of jaundice and no wound marks have been found
on the body. The forest officials burnt the cadaver under National Tiger Conservation Act. The forest officials are investigating further.
Just a day back, teh carcass of a male tiger aged about 6 – 7 years was found dead at Nagarhole Tiger Reserve.
