Chamarajanagara: The Office of BJP MLA Niranjan Kumar in Gundlupete has been shifted as the model code of conduct has come into force following the Election Commission’s decision to fix a date for the State Assembly elections.
MLA Niranjan Kumar had opened the MLA’s Office at Inspector Bungalow in the Town for the benefit of the people of Gundlupete Taluk of the District. He also held public contact meetings every Monday to receive people’s grievances. But now that the code of conduct has come into force, the office has been vacated.
As per the official order of the Election Commission of India dating the Karnataka Assembly Elections 2023, the MLA’s office, party banners and wall writings in the panchayat limits in the town are being removed through the respective local bodies.
