Chamarajanagara: In a tragic incident, a man died after falling into an agricultural pond in a field on the outskirts of Triambakapura Village in the Taluk.
The deceased has been identified as Mahadeswamy (40), a resident of Triaambakapura Village, who had gone to drink water from an agricultural pond constructed on the farmland of one Kalashetty. The Terakanambi police, who rushed to the spot after receiving the information, lifted the body from the farm pond and sent it to the public hospital for postmortem.
A case has been registered at Terakanambi Police Station in this regard.
