Chamarajanagara: Acting on a tip-off that liquor was being sold illegally in a shop, Excise Department Officials conducted a raid and arrested one person at Elachatti Village in Bandipur forest area of Gundlupete Taluk in the District.
He used to illegally store liquor in his shop and sell it to people in Tribal Colonies on the fringes of Bandipura Forest at a higher price. Excise Inspector Tanveer conducted a raid and arrested the accused and seized more than two litres of liquor pouches of different brands from him.
