Chamarajanagara: A man, who had come from Kerala to buy bananas, slipped and fell into an agricultural pond and died on the outskirts of Honnegowdanahalli Village in Chamarajanagara Taluk on Saturday November 12.
The deceased has been identified as Ismail (42), a native of Ambalakadu in Wayanad District of Kerala. It is learnt that he had come from Kerala to buy bananas and when he went out for an outing, he slipped and fell into an agricultural pond which belongs to Rajappa of Honnegowdanahalli Village.
Gundlupet Police reached the spot and after conducting an inspection, the fire brigade personnel found the body and lifted it up.
