Chamarajanagara: Rs 2.59 Cr of cash accumulates in Male Mahadeshwara Temple

Chamarajanagara: Rs. 2.59 Crore in cash, 80 grams of gold and 3.9 kg of silver have been collected in the last 34 days at Madappana Hundi on Srikshetra Male Mahadeshwara Hill.

The hundi counting process, which started at 8.00 am at the commercial complex near the private bus stand at Male Mahadeshwara Betta, continued till 10.00 pm under CCTV camera surveillance.

In the last 34 days, Rs. 2,59,31,472 in cash, 80 grams of gold and 3,900 kg of silver articles were offered to the hundi.
