Chamarajanagara: Soldier from Siddayyanapura dies in Mysuru

Chamarajanagara: In a tragic incident, a soldier, who was on leave to meet his family members, accidentally fell in front of his house and died at Siddayyanapura Village in Kollegala Taluk of the District.

The deceased has been identified as K. Subrahmanya (44). The deceased BSF Head Constable from West Bengal, who had been serving in the Indian Army for the last 23 years, had come on leave for two weeks to see his family. On November 24, he slipped and fell on the road in front of the house and sustained severe head injuries. He underwent initial treatement at Janani Hospital in the City and later was admitted to Narayana Hrudayalaya Hospital in Mysuru for further treatment.

He died on Monday November 28 after failing to respond to treatment
