Chamarajanagara: The Police has registered an FIR against organisations following complaint by Kempamma, who was allegedly assaulted by District In-Charge Minister V. Somanna while distributing house title deeds to beneficiaries, recently.

In the complaint she has stated that many organisations are coming to me and giving mental torture by saying that Minister V. Somanna slapped me. For this reason, she appealed police to protect her and take action against the organisations that are harassing her.

Kempamma stated that my name was dropped in the list prepared by the Gram Panchayat for housing beneficiaries. She stated that she was a widow and went to dais to appeal minister to provide house for herself. She clarified that she was not assaulted by the Minister but he consoled and promised her to provide title deeds. She stated that she did not submit few records to get house site. After submitting the title deeds the Gram Panchayat sanctioned her the house.

She stated that after this, few leaders have been coming to the house claiming to be members of some organisation and harassing her. They are pressurising me to file complaint against Minister V. Somanna and that she could also become a millionaire in the process as she was not able to go for work. She stated that she has filed FIR against organisations because they were forcing her to file a case. Based on the complaint filed by the
woman, a case was registered against the Raitha Sangha, Nayaka Hita Rakshasa Vedike , Mahila Sangathane, DSS, and KRS party at the Gundlupete Police Station.
