Chamarajanagara: Two held for transporting tiger claws

Chamarajanagara: The police officials arrested two persons. The two persons were arrested on the charges of transporting tiger claws. The incident was held on the night of Tuesday January 17.

The accused identified as Gopal (35) of Hanur Taluk and Hanumesha (29) of Raichur.

The police raided and arrested the two accused for illegally transporting tiger claws. The raid was conducted after getting the information on illegal transport.

40 tiger claws, 2 teeth and 1 bike were seized from the arrested. The arrested have been remanded to judicial custody.

Further investigation is on.
