Chamarajanagara: The famous Male Mahadeshwara Temple Ugadi fair begun in a grand manner in the early morning on Tuesday March 29.
Owing to Corona disease, the temple celebrated fair in a simple way since two years. However, this year the fair will be held as usual. Thousands of devotees visit daily to this temple situated in Hanur Taluk.
The Temple Development Committee decorated all the trees beside roads, and temple premises with lightings. The Tamil Nadu devotees visit in large numbers and offer crop to God. Various poojas will be held in the temple till Saturday April 2.
On Wednesday March 30, oil bath seve, on Thursday March 31 special decoration seva, Amavasya pooja on Friday April 1 and Maha rathotsava will be held on Saturday.
The committee has also made arrangements to distribute free food, jaggery juice following the directions by the State Muzrai Department.
