Chamarajanagara: The Forest Officials have arrested two persons and recovered cooked meat on Tuesday February 22.
The arrested have been identified as Mahesh (35) and Kumar (28), natives of Annurkeri Village. It is said that the arrested hunted a rabbit in Kurubara Hundi of Gundlupet Taluk under Bandipura Tiger Reserve.
Acting on a tip off forest officials raided their houses and recovered meat, a gun, and other equipments. Forest officers have registered a case and are investigating.
