Chamarajanagar: A bus conductor employed with KSRTC befriended a pre-university college girl during regular trips and ultimately succeeded in drawing her into marriage.
Ravikumar, a resident of Ganiganur in Yelandur taluk attached to KSRTC Gundlupet depot had married Padmavathi in 2003. Despite having two children from his first marriage, Ravikumar lured a pre-university girl travelling regularly to college in his bus.
Ravikumar tied the knot to the minor girl from Bhogayyanahundi village on October 23 and the incident was reported late.
After having learnt of husband’s second marriage, first wife Padmavathi has sought justice by lodging an official complaint with the Southern Range Inspector General of Police (IGP).
