Chamarajanagara: Three persons including two students resorted to suicide in three separate incidents reported from Kollegala Taluk in District in last 24 hours.
In the first case, Mamatha (16), a SSLC student from Mulluru Village took the extreme step. In the death note left, she said that she has lost mental peace hence has taken this extreme step. Her parents said that she has been suffering from depression hence resorted to suicide. Kollegala Rural Police has registered a case.
In a second incident, Nithin (17) committed suicide in his aunt’s house in Ninganapura on Thursday March 24. It is said that Nithin, a native of Bengaluru was studying in PUC, and had come back to his aunt’s house five days back. In the third incident reported, Geetha (24), a house wife took her life by hanging herself from the roof of the house on the night of Thursday March 24. The reason for death is not yet known. Kollegala Town Police has registered two separate cases.
