Mysuru: Former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah came down heavily on party workers here on Friday November 19 for demanding MLC ticket for Former Zilla Panchayat President K Marigowda.
Supporters of Marigowda gathered at Siddu’s residence and demanded ticket for him. Enraged by the demand Siddu removed the face mask and charged that Marigowda is the one among others who defeated him in the last assembly election. Are you not ashamed to seek a ticket for him?, he showed his ire.
Further, he asked the workers to introspect and let him know that were they not responsible for his defeat?
Siddaramaiah was defeated by more than 36000 by JD (S) MLA G. T. Devegowda at his native constituency Chamundeshwari in 2018
election.
On many occassions to date Siddaramaiah remembers his humiliating defeat in Chamundeshwari Constituency.
