chamundeshwari staffMysuru: In a huge relief to the devotees of the Chamundeshwari temple, the staff, including priests, have withdrawn their two-day strike. All sevas will resume from Sunday, December 16.

According to the Muzarai department officers in the city, on Saturday, the representatives of the agitating staff union held a discussion with the Muzarai minister Rajashekhara Patil. “Following assurances from the minister, the strike was withdrawn,” informed Prasad, temple executive officer.

“Due to the two-day-long strike, the temple lost Rs 10 lakhs in revenue,” he added.
