Mysuru: Chief minister Siddaramaiah refused to react on senior Congress leader Janardhan Poojary’s statement that a CM should sell his expensive wristwatch and help the Siachen soldier’s family.
Earlier, Janardhan Poojary while addressing a press meet in Mangaluru, had said that the watch worth several lakhs that the CM owns doesn’t bring him repute and asked the latter to auction it immediately and give the proceedings to the Siachen martyr from Karnataka.

CM who had been to the city for campiagning for the ZP/TP elections, told reporters that Congress will win all the seats in the byelections. “Even if Congress loses in the byelections and the ZP and TP polls, the entire party would be responsible not one person. Also district-incharge minister alone will be not be held responsible”, he said.

“Out of 30 ZP seats, Congress will win in more than 20 seats and it will win more than 100 Taluk Panchayath seats. For the first time, Congress will come to power in Mysuru Zilla Panchayath”, he added.
