Mysuru: “Congress has been contemplating to remove the Deputy Lokayukta purely for political gains,” alleged BJP MLA CT Ravi.

Addressing media in Mysuru, Ravi said that the BJP had helped the ruling party to dethrone tainted Lokayukta Bhaskar Rao. “However, the Congress has been using the same amendments to remove the Deputy Lokayukta so that the CM many other ministers who are involved in various scams are not exposed.”

“The Congress party has been trying to wash out the entire Lokayukta just to hide their involvements in various cases,” he said, adding that corruption in the state was on the rise and that the ones involved in it were roaming around with no fear.

Welcoming the decision of the High Court in BS Yeddyurappa’s case, he said that the former Chief Minister’s comeback has boosted the strength of the BJP.
