There has been specialty this time in illumination that unfolds the pictures of Parliament Building and Vidhan Soudha at D Devaraj Urs Trust grounds located between Dasappa roundabout and city railway station.  The illumination displays energy saving tips in order to create general awareness.

Although the Committee entrusted for illumination ahead of Dasara, illuminated the city roads, government buildings, majority of shopkeepers, restaurateurs, cinema theater owners, filling stations etc put up illumination of the respective premises at their own cost.  It has indeed added flavor to Navaratri celebrations.  The illumination is underway in other streets while the palace city will be projected as dreamland from October 5 to October 16.
