Mysuru: City police recently returned the lost visa of a lady belonging to the United States of America, with the help of social media.
A Gayathripuram resident had found a Passport, Visa, Debit Card, ATM and other cards near Sidharth Layout recently and handed it over to the City police commissioner.
Immediately, the police informed the Chennai police via mail about the lost documents. The Chennai police immediately contacted the American Consulate who later informed Ayambar Lee, a US national who had lost her documents.
The lady, learning about her lost documents arrived to Mysuru City police commissioner’s office and collected all the documents from the Police Commissioner Dayanand.
Mysuru police proved, yet again, that social media has a lot of positive features too.
