Mysuru: District In-charge Minister S. T. Somashekar inaugurated the Mysuru Dasara 2021 website at the Mysore Palace Board office here on Friday October 1.
He said that as decided, it will be a simple Dasara. All the Dasara programmes will be telecast virtually and will be telecast on the website, Youtube, Facebook and other media platforms to reach highest number of people. The details of the Dasara inauguration, Jamboo Savari and cultural programmes have been uploaded on the website both in Kannada and English, he informed.
“The website will also give information on Dasara inaugurator’s details, sub-committees, and tourist spots,” the minister said. He added, “Due to scare of the third wave of the Coronavirus pandemic, the Dasara celebrations will be low-key. All the Covid-19 guidelines will be followed strictly.”
