Mysuru: Patients standing in long queues at the government hospitals enduring suffering was observed at most government hospitals in the city as the private hospital doctors strike entered the fourth day.
In most government hospitals, patients were seen thronging counters to avail medical care. Fortunately no deaths have been reported in and around Mysuru on account of the strike so far.
Meanwhile, the government has asked government hospital doctors to offer 24/7 services to patients in need of urgent medical care. The District Health Office (DHO) issued orders to the doctors on leave to report back immediately to deal with the emergency like situation.
