Mysuru: Local fishermen rescued two lovers when they jumped in to Kapila River on Wednesday December 1.
It is said that Abhi (19), a native of Somwarpet in Chamarajanagara and his lover, a 17-year-old girl jumped into river at Nanjanagudu in a suicide attempt. It is said that Abhi working in a petrol pump, and in love with the girl who is still studying. It is understood that they faced opposition from both their parents, and thus lovers resorted this extreme step.
Nanjanagudu Police have registered a case and are investigating.
