Mysuru: District Minister HC Mahadevappa launched the official website of ‘Dasara-2016’ at Deputy Commissioner’s office here on Saturday, August 20.
Speaking after launching the website Mahadevappa said, “The website will have all information related to Mysuru and surrounding tourist spots. Apart from this, for the first time we have come out with theme based dasara, keeping this in mind, we have come out with slogans related to save water and save lives. Apart from this we have also come out with few slogans related to greenery and other eco-friendly initiatives. The website also contains geographical indications of Mysuru.
The website has been designed keeping in mind the people who would come to Mysuru to witness the 11-day festival, not just from India but abroad as well. The website is developed by Dot Angle who will keep track on website and keep updating the information.

Bengaluru based artists Lokesh Ravudhi attached to Aadi Creative’s designed the Logo. To come out with attractive logo, district administration had invited people to come out with their innovative ideas. More than 83 people had submitted 160 attractive logos. Later the officials along with elected representatives shortlisted 10 and finally one was selected by a committee. Lokesh Ravudhi logo which was attractive was finally selected.
